(10 Nov 09-RV) Lebanon today began its first full day under a unity government. The country’s Prime Minister Saad al-Hariri formed the new administration yesterday. Lebanon has been without a functioning government since Hariri led his coalition to victory in a June parliamentary election against Hezbollah and its allies. We spoke to Professor Kalil Karam of St Joseph’s University in Beirut who says the make-up of the new unity government is fair.
