Templeton Prize Winner on Faith and Reason


(12 Mar 08 - RV) Fr. Michael Heller today received this year’s Templeton Prize for Progress Toward Research or Discoveries about Spiritual Realities.
Established in 1972, the prize is awarded to a living person who has helped “expand human perceptions of divinity and of divine creativity.”
The Templeton Prize is a money award of more than 1.5 million US dollars, the largest single award made annually to an individual.
Fr. Michael Heller is a Polish priest and prolific author of works examining the frontier of human intellectual endeavour at the crossroads of science, religion and theology.
